“Yes, O.C. ako ---kulang na nga lang iligpit ko siya ,” Carmina retorted. Such banter proves that the couple has not ceased to be friends. Carmina said that she has accepted Zoren’s ‘mess’ at home. “Everytime maghuhubad siya ng shoes, may trail! Yung sapatos niya nandito, yung socks niya nandon. Ito na yung hamper, pero yung dirty clothes niya, andun lang sa tabi at di pa naipasok!”
Carmina, however, praised Zoren for his good points. She said that Zoren is “okay” in the kitchen in that he experiments with his cooking, and doesn’t pass on chores to other people. Without revealing more details, Carmina extolled Zoren by calling him “close to perfection.” “I can’t ask for anything more,” she said. The couple disclosed that they have never had a major fight in all their nine years together. Carmina added that because Zoren is such a nice person, it’s almost certain that it’s the other person’s fault if he ends up fighting with Zoren. The couple said that because they know each other so well, they do not even have to say anything to know what the other wants.
This deep understanding of each other is a key to their smooth-sailing relationship, they said. Now the proud parents of twins Maverick and Cassandra, who were born in Las Vegas, Nevada,USA, Carmina and Zoren have adjusted well in their roles as parents. “He’s a very good father to our kids. Umaabot na ako [sa point] na kinu-question ko yung pagiging mommy ko sa sobrang galing niya,” Carmina said. Zoren admitted that he had had to play “yung pagiging nanay at tatay sa bahay, dahil wala si Carmina.” Carmina, a TV host-actress, has a regular morning show, “Sis” while Zoren has a more flexible schedule.
